Courage Because He Commands It
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

What This Means for You
God didn't ask Joshua if he felt brave. He commanded him to be strong and courageous. That tells us something: courage isn't a feeling you wait for. It's a choice you make because the God who told you to go is the same God who goes with you. You don't need to feel ready. You just need to know He's there.
