What This Means for You
God doesn't stand at a distance when your heart breaks. He draws closer. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted. Not near to the people who have it all together. Not near to the ones who smile through everything. Near to the broken ones. If your heart is in pieces right now, know this: He is closer than He has ever been.
Try This Today
If you're hurting right now, give yourself permission to feel it fully for five minutes. Don't fix it, don't explain it, just feel it. Then whisper: "Lord, You are near to me right now." Sit in that truth.
