Day 14 of 365

Light in the Darkness

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Psalm 27:1 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

David asks three questions: If the Lord is my light, whom shall I fear? If He's my salvation, who should scare me? If He's the strength of my life, what should make me afraid? The answer to all three is the same: nobody and nothing. When God is your source, fear loses its power.

Try This Today

Fill in the blank three times: "The Lord is my light, so I will not fear _____." Write all three on an index card and carry it with you today. Pull it out when the fear creeps in.
