Day 19 of 365

Through the Fire, Not Alone

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

Isaiah 43:2 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

Notice God doesn't say "if" you pass through the waters. He says "when." Trouble will come. But the promise is that the waters won't overflow you and the fire won't burn you. He doesn't always remove the trial, but He always walks through it with you. You won't drown. You won't be consumed. He is right there.

Try This Today

If you're going through a hard season, write "Isaiah 43:2" on your wrist or set it as your phone wallpaper. Every time you see it, remember: the water won't overflow and the fire won't consume. He is with you in this.
