Day 20 of 365

Refuge When Everything Shakes

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;”

Psalm 46:1-2 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Not a distant help. Not a theoretical help. A very present help. And because of that, we don't need to fear even if the earth itself gives way. Mountains can shake, oceans can roar, and God remains your solid ground.

Try This Today

Think of the most unstable area of your life right now. Write down: "Even if [this situation] completely falls apart, God is my refuge and He is present right now." Read it back to yourself slowly.
