Day 30 of 365

The Verse That Started It All

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

You've probably heard this verse a thousand times. But read it slowly one more time. God so loved the world that He gave. That's what love does: it gives. Not leftover love, not convenient love. He gave His only begotten Son. For you. So that whoever believes will not perish but have everlasting life. That includes you. Today. Right now.

Try This Today

Read John 3:16 and replace "the world" and "whosoever" with your own name. Say it out loud: "For God so loved [your name] that He gave His only begotten Son, that [your name] believing in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Let it land.
