Day 33 of 365

Suffering Builds Something

“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:”

Romans 5:3-4 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

Tribulation produces patience. Patience produces character. Character produces hope. There's a chain reaction happening in your hardest seasons. The suffering isn't pointless. It's building something in you that couldn't be built any other way. You're not falling apart. You're being forged.

Try This Today

Write down one hard thing you've endured recently. Next to it, write what it taught you. Even if all you can write is "I'm still standing," that's character being formed. Acknowledge it.
