Day 51 of 365

When You Don't Know How to Pray

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

Romans 8:26 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

Some days the words just won't come. The pain is too deep or the anxiety is too thick to form a sentence. That's when this verse matters most. The Spirit helps your weakness. He prays for you with groanings that go beyond words. You don't need perfect prayers. God hears the cry of your heart even when your mouth can't catch up.

Try This Today

If prayer feels hard today, stop trying to find the right words. Just sit quietly and breathe. With each exhale, think: "Spirit, pray what I cannot." Let the Holy Spirit do the heavy lifting.
