Day 59 of 365

Don't Let the Sun Go Down

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.”

Ephesians 4:26-27 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

"Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath." The Bible doesn't say anger is a sin. It says letting anger fester is the problem. Unresolved anger gives the devil a foothold in your relationships. Deal with it before the day ends. Have the hard conversation. Extend the grace. Don't let bitterness spend the night.

Try This Today

Before tonight, address one unresolved frustration. If you can't resolve it fully, at least pray about it and release the bitterness. Don't go to sleep holding onto anger. Give it to God before lights out.
