Day 78 of 365

Joy in the One Who Made You

“Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.”

Psalm 149:1-2 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

This psalm invites you to be joyful in the One who made you. Not joyful because everything is going well, but joyful because you belong to a God who created you on purpose. When the world makes you question your worth, remembering who made you puts the ground back under your feet.

Try This Today

Stand in front of a mirror and say out loud: "God made me and He is glad He did." It might feel silly, but do it anyway. Let that truth settle somewhere deeper than your feelings.
