Day 82 of 365

Comfort That Becomes a Gift

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

God comforts you not just for your own sake, but so you can turn around and comfort someone else. Your hardest season is becoming your greatest ministry. The pain you walked through qualifies you to sit with someone else in theirs.

Try This Today

Think of one hard thing you have walked through. Then think of one person going through something similar. Reach out to them today and simply say: 'I have been there. You are not alone.'
