When Your Heart Is Overwhelmed
“Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

David says 'when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.' He does not pretend his heart is fine. He admits it is overwhelmed. And then he asks to be led somewhere solid. That is the prayer for days like this.
