Day 103 of 365

Praise from the Low Place

“But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high. I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.”

Psalm 69:29-30 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

David was poor and sorrowful. He did not wait until he felt better to praise. He praised in the middle of the mess. And he said that praise pleased God more than any sacrifice. Your worship from the hard place is the most powerful kind.

Try This Today

If today feels heavy, force yourself to speak one sentence of praise out loud: 'God, You are good, even in this.' It does not have to be eloquent. It just has to be honest.
