Day 149 of 365
Asking God for Comfort
“Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.”
Psalm 119:76 (KJV) |
What This Means for You
It is not weak to ask God for comfort. The psalmist did it openly: Let Your merciful kindness be for my comfort. You do not have to muscle through hard seasons alone. Asking for comfort is an act of faith, not a sign of failure.
Try This Today
Tonight before bed, pray this one sentence: 'Lord, let Your merciful kindness be my comfort.' Then sit in silence for sixty seconds and let Him answer however He chooses.
