Strength in Stillness
“For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.”

What This Means for You
The world says you find strength in doing more. God says you find it in returning, resting, being quiet, and trusting. Strength and confidence come from stillness. That sounds backwards, but it has always been true.
Try This Today
Set a timer for ten minutes. Sit in a quiet place with no phone, no music, no noise. Just be still. If your mind races, bring it back to one phrase: 'In quietness and confidence is my strength.'
