Friends, Not Servants
“Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”

What This Means for You
Jesus upgraded the relationship. He didn't call His followers servants anymore. He called them friends. A servant just follows orders. A friend is trusted with the heart behind them. That's what God wants with you: not blind obedience, but genuine closeness.
