Let Your Light Be Seen

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

What This Means for You

Jesus didn't say 'try to be a light.' He said 'you are the light.' It's already in you. Your job isn't to manufacture brightness. It's to stop hiding it. The people around you at work, at school, in your neighborhood need what God has put inside you.

Try This Today

Do one visible act of kindness at work or in your community today. Hold the door, compliment a stranger, bring treats for your coworkers. Don't announce it, but don't hide it either. Let your light be naturally visible.
