Sins at the Bottom of the Sea

“Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. Micah asks a stunning question: who is a God like you? A God who pardons sin, passes by transgression, and does not stay angry forever. Then the most vivid picture: He casts all our sins into the depths of the sea. Not the shallow end. The depths. Gone. If God threw it that far, stop diving back in to retrieve it.
