Day 194 of 365

He Speaks to Your Storm

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?”

Mark 4:39-40 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

The disciples were experienced fishermen. They'd seen storms before. But this one terrified them. And Jesus was asleep. Sometimes it feels like God isn't paying attention to your crisis. But the same voice that calmed the sea is still speaking over your life.

Try This Today

Name the 'storm' that feels biggest right now. Write it on a piece of paper. Then write underneath it: 'Peace, be still.' Pray those three words over your situation before bed tonight.
