Have Faith in God

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

What This Means for You

Jesus wasn't giving a formula for getting whatever you want. He was revealing the nature of faith: it speaks to impossible situations. Faith doesn't deny reality. It appeals to a higher one. The mountain is real, but so is the God who can move it.

Try This Today

Identify one situation that feels completely immovable in your life. Pray over it specifically: 'God, I believe You are bigger than this. I'm not asking You to explain it. I'm asking You to move it.' Pray that prayer each night this week.
