Day 215 of 365

Suffering Isn't Always Punishment

“And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”

John 9:2-3 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

The disciples saw a blind man and asked who sinned. Jesus flipped the entire question. This wasn't about blame. It was about God showing up in ways nobody expected. Your pain doesn't always have a tidy explanation, but it always has a purpose God can use.

Try This Today

If you've been asking 'Why me?' about something painful, try a different question today: 'God, what do You want to reveal through this?' Write down whatever comes to mind, and sit with it.
