A Worker God Approves
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

What This Means for You
Paul told Timothy to study, not to impress people at Bible trivia, but to be a worker who does not need to be ashamed before God. That word 'study' means to be diligent, to give your best effort. God does not demand perfection. He asks for your honest, wholehearted attention to His word.
