Day 320 of 365

Winter Will Not Last Forever

“For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;”

Song of Solomon 2:11-12 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

The winter is past. The rain is over. Flowers are appearing. Birdsong fills the air. This is a love letter, and it is also a picture of what God does after hard seasons. He does not leave you in winter forever. Spring comes. And when it does, the singing starts again. If you are in a cold, quiet season, hold on.

Try This Today

Step outside today and look for one sign of life, even in winter. A bird singing, a green leaf, a clear sky. Let it remind you that seasons always change and God brings new life.
