Day 330 of 365

When God's Word Becomes Joy

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.”

Jeremiah 15:16 (KJV) |

What This Means for You

Jeremiah said God's words were found and he ate them, and they became joy and rejoicing. Not just information. Not just duty. Joy. When Scripture stops being an obligation and starts being a meal, everything changes. You were not made to study the Bible like a textbook. You were made to feast on it.

Try This Today

Choose one verse from this week's devotionals and read it out loud slowly, three times. The third time, ask: 'God, what are you feeding me right now?' Let it become a meal instead of a task.
