Day 213 of 365
Treat People the Way You Want
“And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.”
Luke 6:31 (KJV) |
What This Means for You
The Golden Rule sounds simple until you actually try to live it for a whole day. It means being patient with the slow cashier, kind to the rude coworker, and generous with the person who never thanks you. Love is measured by how you treat people who can't do anything for you.
Try This Today
Pick one interaction today (at work, the store, or online) and before you respond, ask: 'How would I want to be treated right now?' Then act on that answer, even if the other person doesn't deserve it.
