Day 230 of 365
Hope Is Your Anchor
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;”
Hebrews 6:19 (KJV) |
What This Means for You
The writer of Hebrews compares hope to an anchor. Anchors don't stop the storm. They keep the boat from drifting. Your hope in God won't eliminate the waves, but it will keep you from being swept away. You can bend without breaking.
Try This Today
Draw a small anchor on your wrist or on a piece of tape on your phone case. Every time you notice it today, say: 'My hope is anchored in God. I will not drift.' Let it ground you through whatever comes.
